Proof Of Delivery
‘Health Timers’ prioritize safe and timely delivery of medicines to the people of the United States. This Proof of delivery ensures transparency, accountability, and efficiency in each of our delivery processes.
This document outlines our order processing, verification methods, and responsibilities for confirming the successful order receipts.
Our Proof of delivery guarantees faster and express delivery of products to your doorstep with our trusted shipping and delivery partners (USPS and FedEx) within the time frame of (24 hours), and (3 – 4 business days) through FedEx.
A tracking ID will be sent through email after the order confirmation to allow you to easily track the shipment of the orders and get live updates on your products. You will receive a tracking number when creating a label with your delivery confirmation, allowing you to track your shipment’s progress.
What Is Proof Of Delivery?
A proof of delivery is a formal confirmation that your order has been successfully delivered to the customer or the recipients. It serves as legal evidence that the product has reached the customer in good condition.
Our Proof of delivery (POD) includes essential details such as –
- Recipient’s name and signature
- Delivery date and time
- Delivery details (medications, quality, and condition)
- Delivery agent name and ID
Methods Of Proof Of Delivery
‘Health Timers’ employees the following Proof of delivery (POD) methods to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the delivery:
Electronic Signature Confirmation
- Customers receiving their order must sign digitally on the delivery agent’s advice.
- An electronic signature is securely stored in our system for future reference.
- A copy of the signed POD is sent to the customer via email or SMS.
Physical Signature Or Paper Receipt
- For areas with limited digital accessibility, customers may sign a physical delivery receipt
- The delivery agent receives the signed receipt in our system for records
- A scanned copy is made available upon request
OTP (One Time Password) Verification
- Customers may receive a unique OTP via SMS or email upon dispatch
- The OTP must be provided to the delivery agent at the time of receipt
- Once verified, the order will be marked as delivered in our system
Photo Proof Of Delivery
- If the recipient is unavailable, the delivery agent may take a photograph of the package at the designated drop-off location.
- This method is used only with prior customer consent and for non-prescription items.
Delivery Attempts
If the recipient is not present or available to accept the delivery of the product at the designated place, our logistics partner will make three attempts to deliver the products in three days. If the third delivery attempt is unsuccessful, we reserve the right to cancel the order you purchased. We also reserve the right to deduct the shipping and delivery charges we bear while processing the refunds after such cancellation.
While we make reasonable endeavors to ensure that the products you order are delivered within the timeline notified to you upon delivery, you accept and understand that the delivery may be delayed due to certain circumstances that are beyond our control.
In case where delivery cannot be completed –
- First Attempt: The delivery agent will attempt to contact the customer.
- Second Attempt: A second delivery attempt will be made within 24 – 48 hours.
- Final Attempt And Return: If delivery fails after multiple attempts, the order will be returned to our warehouse, and additional charges may be applied for reshipping.
Upon the delivery, the supplier and the customer receive notification that the shipment has reached its final destination or has been delivered successfully.
Managing Safety Through Proof Of Delivery
In the case of receiving notification via an online pharmacy delivery service, a person may suffer from conditions where movement is perhaps limited or the issues brought on by ill health keep them housebound for a longer period of time.
Where they cannot access a pharmacy as readily as someone more able, a reliance on the correct medication being delivered at the correct time is vital to ensure the management of health problems.
The Proof of delivery in these cases not only assures the pharmacy that the items have been safely delivered but also gives the patients peace of mind that what they require will be delivered at the requested time.
This isn’t foolproof, though some of the more unscrupulous couriers may deliver medications and class proof of delivery, such as a photo of a package outside a doorway. With medication, this is just not acceptable, especially when a patient isn’t informed that the delivery has been made.
Special Delivery Considerations
For certain medications and high-value orders, additional security measures may be implemented –
Temperature Sensitive Medications
- These orders are delivered using insulated packaging with cold storage packs to maintain stability.
- Customers are advised to retrieve such packages immediately upon delivery.
Controlled Substances & Restricted Medications
- These medications require strict compliance with government regulations.
- Customers must provide proper identification and sign for these deliveries in person.
- Any unauthorized recipient will be denied the order.
Bulk Orders
- Bulk orders may require special delivery arrangements.
- Customers will be contacted in advance for delivery scheduling.
We are committed to ensure a faster, safe, secure, and an efficient delivery experience for all our customers.
Note: If you have any concerns about the Proof of delivery (POD), please contact us, and our team will help and try to resolve the issue for You.
